Our new art gallery features original works from local talent in all media along with choice selections of antiques and unique collectibles. 
Founded by D. J. (Dan) Phillips, art director/curator, with advice and inspiration from Alpenhof Complex owner, Susann Wimmer, "die Galerie" aspires to bring a breath of fresh air to the burgeoning art community in the Berks County area.

Our new art gallery show, in die Galerie aptly named,
“Die FarbensonnenBlumen”  (the Painted Sunflowers)
Opening reception: May 3rd, 2008
Closing Reception:  5pm Sat. June 14
Had it’s opening reception  Saturday May 3rd at 5pm  in  “die Galerie”  - Alpenhof   It was a partying time w/ a number of positive feedbacks for up and coming artist, Kyle Hettinger (he, the talented  brother of the famous Deric Hettinger ) and the fabulous series of Rock Icons by Michael Moore (a vocalist who also performed that night w/ his rockin' band, “Blind Pilot”)
 Open daily, the new show also features original art for sale by Mary Stetler, and back by popular demand, awesome oil renditions by Kenneth Liskey.
We also have a series of inexpensive and intriguing, must see moonface portraits called “Night Friends” by Daryl Szajek, original art stationery sets by Gail Porr,  Reading, PA, historical art, astounding Moonscapes and Pagoda lithographs by Johnny Howresko,  3-D bronze sculpture by Richard Summons, and framed ceramic tiles w/ original art by Monika Bachmann.  Don’t miss the vast array of one-of-a-kind antique collectibles and glass pieces ofmaster collector, Kim Kline, (always being updated ) to visit hit  “die Galerie”  to see  new and past photos of artists on exhibit.
Come by and peruse originals by great Berks County artists and enjoy refreshment and a home cooked meal courtesy of  The Alpenhof Restaurant & Taproom
